Escape room - what is it?<\/p><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Escape Rooms are adventures in which a team attempts to accomplish some kind of mission in a thematically designed room. The problems are essentially intellectual and, thus, logical skills and collaboration within the team will always be the key to success. The possible amount of players in our rooms varies between 2 and 8, so every room may be unique, depending on group size.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Preparations<\/p><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

No specific preparation need to be made in advance and no knowledge of the theme is required either. However, you may need to be able to read and make simple mathematical calculations. The games can be set up in both English and Swedish, if written information plays a part.<\/span><\/p>

It is preferable that the team should arrive approximately 10 minutes before game start to ensure that the daily schedule can be fulfilled. There are several cameras in each Escape Room which ensure that the game master is able to surveil the team's actions. In addition, microphones are also installed for assistance. If help is needed, the game master is ready to push the team towards the right direction by giving little hints using their microphones or walkie-talkies. You are constantly under surveillence.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

  • Don't climb on anything inside our rooms<\/span><\/li>
  • Don't break anything<\/span><\/li>
  • Don't remove any cables from the walls<\/span><\/li>
  • Don't use your mobile phones or any other device for cheating<\/span><\/li>
  • Don't take any photos or make any videos inside our rooms<\/span><\/li>
  • Don't touch anything with a \"Do not touch\"-symbol<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    All things\/pieces of information are used only once. Everything has only one specific purpose. As a very clear example we cite a key to a lock. When the key is used, that means that you can leave the key in the lock, because there will be no other lock to unlock using that key.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

    • The team members should spread out in the room.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Searching everywhere is generally a good idea upon entering an Escape Room.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • If you have found something interesting, tell the others.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • If you open a box (or the like), it is in most cases better to keep it open rather than closing it, even if you believe that you are finished with it. You may have missed something!<\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • If you have found something, you are most likely able to use it immediately, but not always. There are always several ways to complete our Escape Rooms.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • If you receive a hint from the game master, try to focus on the information you have received. For example: if you have received a hint to investigate the right-hand corner a little more, you should persist in doing that until you find something interesting there.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Try to avoid unnecessary mistakes due to lacking communication. It often occurs that information \"changes\", so when a theory is tested, it fails, due to lacking communication.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • If you attempt to solve a specific problem without success, it is likely that you are doing it incorrectly. In such cases, even if you believe that your idea is very clever (and it may be so!), attempt to abandon it, as we optimize our rooms temporally in order to avoid such dead ends.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • It may seem to be a good idea to use a mobile phone in order to write down notes or make calculations. The issue is that you easily tend to rely on these notes, which means that if they are wrong, you will be stuck. All puzzles are crafted such that they may be solved using the items already within the room.<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
